Jonathan Kennard heads to Knockhill in Scotland this weekend determined to take two podium slots following his strong finish in the last two rounds at Croft.  Undoubtedly, the best performance in his short racing career, the 19 year-old didn't put a foot wrong in the atrocious conditions at the North Yorkshire track, and was running in amongst the battle for the overall Championship class as he took a brace of fourth positions.

The Tunbridge-Wells based teenager has visited the Scottish track just north of Edinburgh just once, in the BRSCC T-Cars Championship back in 2001.  Now, running with the established Alan Docking Racing and at the pinnacle of British single-seater racing, he will be hoping for a strong result to further move him up the points table.  Currently he's just six points behind his ADR team-mate Juho Annala in fifth and eight points clear of sixth-placed Nick Jones.

Two podium finishes could well see him move up to fourth this weekend behind the more experienced drivers currently occupying the first three places.

“I was very happy with the way at drove at Croft,” said Jonathan.  “It was probably the best I've ever driven, the weather really was atrocious, rain, spray, hail, and we had virtually every conceivable weather condition.  But despite that I think it went really well for us.  I'm learning all the time and really getting to grips with the car and the tracks so I'm looking forward to Knockhill this weekend where hopefully we can get a couple of top three finishes.”
